  • Students will be promoted on probation to the next level if they have failed one semester of Mathematics or one semester of English.

  • Students will be allowed to continue classes even after failing the first semester provided that they show improvement by the next mid-semester and are not a disciplinary problem.

  • Students can repeat, provided that they are not a disciplinary problem.

  • Students who fail the same form more than once and are eighteen years or over may be asked not to return.

*3A1 students take three science subjects each semester.  Since there are two semesters in the year this adds up to a total of six science subjects for the academimc year.  For a student to be promoted he/she needs to pass any four science subjects.  The same principle applie to the requirements for the other programs.

Where a student does not meet the English or Mathematics requirements for graduation a Diploma will be granted if the student obtains Grade 1 or 11 in the CSEC General Proficiency or Grade 1 in Basic Proficiency.
